"In 2006, the latest year for which statistics were available, nearly 9.7 million children died worldwide before their fifth birthdays, mostly from preventable causes such as diarrhea, malaria or malnutrition," this article says in quoting the annual report of the United Nations Children's Fund.
How can man claim to be the smartest species on Earth by conquering one country at an estimated cost of $2 trillion and leaving behind millions of sick and hungry children to die due to the paucity of resources?
